QuestUp Privacy Policy

Ryan Moye ("we," "our," or "us") built the QuestUp app as a gamified habit tracking application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use QuestUp.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and profile information.

Habit & Progress Data: We store your habits, quests, streaks, level progress, XP, achievements, and buddy list. This data is stored in Firebase (Google's cloud service) and synced across your devices.

In-App Purchases: Purchases of QuestUp Pro (subscription or lifetime) are processed by RevenueCat and Google Play. We do not store your payment card details.

Device Information: We may collect device identifiers for push notification delivery and crash reporting via Firebase.

How We Use Your Data

• Provide the service: Store and sync your habits, stats, and progress across devices
• Push notifications: Send reminders for habits and quest completion
• Premium features: Verify your subscription status to unlock Pro features
• Analytics: Understand how the app is used to improve it (via Firebase)

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except Firebase/Google (cloud storage), RevenueCat (purchase processing), and as required by law.

Your Rights

Children's Privacy

QuestUp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will change the "Effective Date" above. Significant changes will be communicated via the app.
